Read R obert Gibson and Sharon Edwards have just emerged from a chat with a sales agent at Stonewater, a luxury-home development — like so many others — emerging from the North Carolina wilderness. e neighborhood, whose sales material entices with the thought of finding an oasis from "the long hectic day at the office," could become the home of the soon-to-be-melded family. "Enough space for us. We have six kids combined," she said. eir search, post research phase, is taking a turn. "Now, it's time to walk through and look seriously," Edwards said. "Hunting," Gibson said. And they're far from alone. It being spring, the hunt is on. Take Cecilia Yip and her husband, Pak. She's 35. He's 37. Along for the ride is their son, 14-month-old Aiden. For the last half-dozen years, they've lived in the more rural Creedmoor and on one recent Friday afternoon found themselves at an open house for a $585,000 listing in Heritage, the ground-breaking 2,000-acre community that to many signaled the start of Wake Forest's rapid suburbanization. And for the Yips, it's location, location, location. "Now that we have the little one," Cecilia Yip said, "we have to start thinking about daycare, the schools." en there's the inevitable word- of-mouth.
